1. The Definition of a New Thing (v. 19–20)

 

              New in its character.

 

1. maturity (Ephesians 4:11–13)

Ephesians 4:11–13 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,  to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

 

Quote: “The men and women who have moved the world have been men and women who the world could not move.”

 

2. Holiness (Ephesians 5:26–27)

Ephesians 5:26-27 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

2. The Demonstration of a New Thing

God cannot do a NEW thing until you let go of an OLD thing.

 

Proverbs 24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
