I. The Consequencesof Christian’s Sin
What are theconsequences of choosing to sin?
- Our fellowship with God is Destroyed
- Our repulsion of sin is Desensitized
- Our eternal rewards are Diminished
- Our disobedience will be Disciplined
Four reasons we choose to sin:
1. We lose sight of our true identity (Romans 8:16)
2. We forget that God disciplines disobedience (Hebrews 12:6)
3. We prioritize the earthly rewards over heavenlyrewards (2 Corinthians 5:10)
4. We fail to reflect on what Christ has done for us (1 John 2:2)
