Nehemiah 2:4–8, 17–18

Rebuilding requires people who are passionate and full of faith.

 

Those who make a difference aren’t always the best, but they care the most!

 

1. Define the Mission Carefully (vv. 4–5)

 

When God saved you, He simultaneously called you into the mission of God.

 

 

2. Make Plans Carefully (vv. 6–8)

 

      His request was specific.

 

 

Luke 14:28 For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?

 

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

 

      His response was in faith.

 

 

2 Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

 

 

3. Inspire People Passionately (vv. 17–18)

 

His PASSION was an overflow of his PERSONAL walk with God.

 

COMMUNION with God increases your CONFIDENCE in life.
